Thai Foot Massage:

It is said that the knowledge and techniques of this 2,000-year-old massage therapy were the closely held secrets of the Buddhist monks of the Thai Royal Palace; kept alive and passed down through generations.

Thai foot massage combines the ancient healing therapies of Reflexology, Chinese Tuina, Japanese Shiatsu and Indian Ayurvedic yoga. Working with the feet, lower leg and knees.

If you are familiar with Reflexology, Thai Foot Massage works on similar principles.

According to the theory of the practices of acupuncture and acupressure, there are an outstanding 7,200 sensory nerve endings in each foot which are connected to the internal organs that spread throughout the body.

A Thai foot massage applies pressure to particular areas of the soles of the feet.

Hands, fingers, thumbs, knuckles and a rounded wooden Thai foot massage stick are used to stimulates certain areas of the feet releasing blocked energy within the body’s many Sens lines (Thai-based meridians). This helps to balance and restore a healthy flow of energy throughout the body as well as dispersing a buildup of crystals of calcium and uric acid (toxic wastes) ……and herein lies the connection with reflexology.

Eastern culture believes that when these energy lines are blocked, disease or illness can manifest and that true health is a state of balance, inner peace, calm and stillness. The focus is on ‘creating’ health with the mind, body and soul are all interconnected.

Cupping Therapy:

Cupping therapy is a Chinese medicine treatment that, like acupuncture, helps you with stress and chronic aching. This process consists of placing special suction cups on specific parts of the patient's body, which creates suction pressure on them. Patients go for this treatment when they need to relieve any kind of aching, anxiety, or to improve their blood flow and relax. This treatment gives the patient a massage-like experience, which helps them stay happy and relaxed. It also maintains their body's balance and keeps problems such as a sore shoulder under control.

The pressure the cups apply to you when acupuncturists place them loosens your muscles and sedates your nervous system, relieving stress and anxiety. Office workers benefit from this treatment since it reduces back and neck pain, which is a common issue in that line of work.

Cupping therapy has several benefits. It is known to improve digestion, boost skin health, help with respiratory issues, and speed up the recovery time on specific injuries and ailments.

Some of the benefits you will find from a cupping experience:

Enhanced  blood flow

Empowers immunity by increasing lymphatic output

Stretches muscles and connective tissue
